Sonam is extremely close to her parents and was really disappointed about not being with her  mom as Sunita Kapoor celebrated her birthday in Dubai - Though she was shooting for L'oreal through most of the day , she was constantly connected to her mom over the phone and video chat and kept herself updated on the celebrations.
